A father-daughter duo's 37-year journey in the NYC restaurant scene.

Father and daughter duo Anastasios Lekkas and Kyriaki Vitale opened up Blue Door Souvlakia in January of 2017. Having worked in the restaurant industry for 37 years, Anastasios needed a change of scenery from his NYC diner/coffee shop in Chelsea. The perfect opportunity dropped in Kyriaki's lap which led to the opening of the restaurant together as a team. Both father and daughter strove to bring their home community the best  Greek food, all while feeling at home. After the passing of Anastasios, despite losing her beloved father and partner, Kyriaki continues to bring the best Greek  food to her community of Bay Ridge and beyond. Blue Door looks forward to transporting you to the islands of Greece, through good food, a fun atmosphere, and Greek filotimo.
